- For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the customer is referred
to as 'the hirer'. Aulton Wedding Car Hire is referred to as 'the Company'.
- A 50% deposit is required when booking - balance to be paid 30 days
prior to the service day. We accept cash or cheques (sorry - we do not
have the facility to accept credit/debit cards). All bookings are provisional
until a deposit has been paid. Deposit is non-refundable.
- Any cancellations must be made in writing to the company, the full
outstanding balance will be made payable for cancellations made within
60 days of the service day.
- It is possible to book at short notice, for these bookings made within
30 days of the service day the full balance will be due at the time of
booking.
- Every possible effort will be made to arrive on time at the required
address and venues by the company, however we cannot be held responsible
for the late arrival or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control.
The company cannot be held responsible or liable for any impact that a
delay or cancellation might cause to other arrangements or bookings made.
The company strongly recommends that you are covered by independent wedding
insurance.
- Every effort is made to provide a reliable car, but in the unforeseen
circumstances that the vehicle breaks down, the Company accepts no liability,
nor responsibility for the consequences of such an occurrence. However,
we will endeavour to provide an alternative vehicle. If we are unable
to provide a suitable vehicle we will offer a full refund without question.
- The hirer will be responsible for the conduct of all passengers during
the period of hire and we reserve the right to make a charge for any losses
or damage sustained to any part of the vehicle caused by any passenger
or a third party incited to cause damage to the vehicle. A minimum charge
of £100.00 will be applied to cover any cleaning costs caused by
any passenger or third party through food, drink or illness.
- The tradition of throwing confetti over the bride and groom is part
of your day and we accept that some confetti will still be on the bride
and groom will probably fall off inside the car. All wedding car companies
experience real problems with confetti especially when it becomes damp
or wet as the cheap dyes used to colour the confetti can run in a relatively
short time which can permanently stain the cars seating and carpeting,
causing many hundreds of pounds worth of damage of which we are unable
to insure against. Before you enter the car may we kindly ask that you
brush off as much confetti as is reasonably possible? We do love the tradition
of confetti but not too near the car please. We thank you for your consideration
and understanding
- Our vehicle is kept to a very high standard and cleaned again prior
to collection. However, the Company cannot be held responsible or liable
for any clothing becoming dirtied or damaged.
- We will check the vehicle for passengers belongings left in the
vehicle at the end of the hire period. We cannot be held responsible for
any lost or damaged items during the journey or left in the vehicle after
the service.
- All passengers will be expected to comply with legal requirements
whilst travelling in the vehicles. Please ensure that seat belts are used
at all times.
- No food or drink will be allowed to be consumed in the cars. Please
note, we operate a strict no smoking policy in our cars.
- The company or chauffeur has the right to refuse to carry any passenger
who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose
behavior is considered to be a threat to the chauffeur, any other passenger
or the vehicle.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
